Rats and Mice are known carriers of many diseases that can be transmitted to people and pets.  They are also extremely destructive when they chew on wood surfaces and electrical wires within your home.  They can also contaminate our food supply, causing waste.

Two types of mice are common in Colorado. The house mouse is a smaller rodent that has a slightly pointed nose; small, black, somewhat protruding eyes; larger ears; and a nearly hairless. They are generally grayish brown with a gray or buff belly.

Mice

Pack rats are the most common rodent found throughout Colorado.  They are 6 to 9 inches in length with a tail that ranges from 5 to 9 inches long.  They are a grayish tan color on their back with a light colored underbelly, which is often peppered.
